KOSH

Kosh started his career working for the Royal Opera House in London. As art director for Art & Artists Magazine, he met John Lennon and was hired as creative director for Apple Records. His clientele covered numerous British rock bands including The Rolling Stones and The Who. Kosh handled the WAR IS OVER campaign for John Lennon and Yoko Ono. He has created some of the most iconic rock & roll album covers including Abbey Road, Who's Next, Hotel California & ELO's logo. His clients include Jimmy Buffett, Cher, Bob Dylan, Eagles, Dan Fogelberg, Carole King, Randy Newman, Pointer Sisters, Richard Pryor, Ringo Starr, Linda Ronstadt, Electric Light Orchestra, Rod Stewart and James Taylor. Kosh has garnered six Grammy nominations and won three for his art direction for Linda Ronstadt. Susan graduated from U.C. Berkeley with a B.A. in Theater, and went on to attend the prestigious L.A. Civic Light Opera Workshop. She then studied with David Bennett - Shakespeare Intensive, Jose Quintero, Sal Dano, Ken McMillan and appeared in television shows, commercials and soap operas. Susan went on to become a documentary producer for History Channel. After taking a decade or two hiatus from acting to produce documentaries, Susan returned to her first love - acting. She studied acting with the great director & acting coach, Cameron Watson.  She developed her short film script in class under the direction of Cameron. It was her first foray into writing. That short scene went on to become the award winning short film, CASTING ALL CORPSES. She co-starred in the comedy web series I GUESS I'M A GHOST. She produced and stars in the short sci-fi film LANDINGS directed by Cameron Watson. She said joining Mr. Watson’s class was one of the most fortuitous decisions she has ever made.

Award-winning writer and producer Steve Cubine has enjoyed a diverse and interesting career. He is currently the writer/producer of the 2018 Primetime Emmy Award winning series, BREAK A HIP, a funny, irreverent short-form series that stars Emmy-winner Christina. The series features hilarious turns by Allison Janney, Octavia Spencer, Jim Rash, Peri Gilpin, and Priscilla Barnes. He is currently producing the soon-to-be released web series THE DISAPPOINTMENTS. With over 15 years of producing experience, Cubine’s feature film highlights have included the cult classic SORDID LIVES, a comedy written and directed by renowned playwright Del Shores and starring Bonnie Bedelia, Beau Bridges, Delta Burke and Olivia Newton-John, BRAVE NEW JERSEY, starring Tony Hale and Anna Camp, LUCKY, starring Colin Hanks, Ari Graynor, and Ann-Margret, and the award-winning OUR VERY OWN, which stars Allison Janney, Cheryl Hines, Jason Ritter, and Keith Carradine. OUR VERY OWN earned an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Ms. Janney, as well as a Prism Award. A proud member of the DGA and the Television Academy, Cubine is also a novelist. His debut novel, WALKING ON ELECTRIC AIR was published in 2010. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in broadcast journalism.

Alexandra Ryan is an Emmy-nominated producer who had the great honor to be partnered with and develop material for the incomparable James Gandolfini. Ryan got her start as Director of Creative Affairs at Paramount Pictures under studio head Sherry Lansing. Following that she went on to work as VP of Development for veteran film producer Hawk Koch. Together with James, Ryan produced HBO’s ALIVE DAY MEMORIES: HOME FROM IRAQ, which garnered several awards, including an 2007 Emmy nomination and the very first TV Academy’s Television with a Conscience honor. A follow-up to ALIVE DAY, WARTORN , examined the emotional cost of war and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, earning another 2008 Academy Television with a Conscience Honor. Ryan also produced HBO’s HEMINGWAY AND GELLHORN (starring Academy Award Winner Nicole Kidman and Clive Owen), which premiered at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. It earned 15 Emmy nominations and won 2. Ryan was signed to her own producing deal at HBO and developed BONE WARS, a comedy about a famous rivalry in the world of paleontology, for HBO Films and Steve Carell’s, Carousel Productions. Ryan's recent focus has been on documentaries the subjects which include; radicalization in America, the comeback story of a fallen young music star and an iconic biographer who shaped the narrative of pop culture in the 80's and 90's.

Hailed by the Los Angeles Times as "one of our finest contemporary directors,"Cameron Watson balances an in-demand theatre career with a wide variety of film and television projects. He created the hit comedy series BREAK A HIP that just garnered Christina Pickles a 2018 Primetime Emmy Award. The series, which also features Octavia Spencer, Allison Janney, Jim Rash and Peri Gilpin, is now available at www.breakahip.com. Cameron recently directed critically-acclaimed revivals of THE LITTLE FOXES and CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF at Antaeus Theatre Company and IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE - A LIVE RADIO PLAY starring Simon Helberg at the Pasadena Playhouse.  He has worked with Rogue Machine Theatre, The Road, The Fountain, The Colony, Actor's Co-Op, The New American Theatre and Ensemble Theatre Company. For his work in the theatre, Cameron was awarded the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for Distinguished Achievement in Directing. Cameron wrote and directed the Miramax feature film OUR VERY OWN, starring Allison Janney in an Independent Spirit Award-nominated performance. JASON LANGE

With a love of cinema since he was a child, his ongoing career in cinematography has lead to a successful career in film production for over 20 years.  Jason has been a part of various narrative, documentary, commercials, live events, short films, music videos, web series and television programing for networks including National Geographic, Discovery, A&E, History Channel, VH1, Bravo, TLC, TruTV, Spike TV, CNBC, and CMT. Jason was the Director of Photography for Season 2 of BREAK A HIP, the Emmy-winning comedy series.

EMILY CHIU
Editor

Emily Elaine Chiu is an editor working in feature films and television. She has just completed working on a limited series for TNT called I am the Night with Patty Jenkins and Chris Pine. She is a graduate from American Cinema Editors Diversity Mentorship program, where she was mentored by ACE members Sarah Boyd and Mark Yoshikawa.  Emily has been editor of numerous short films, animation shorts with clients Marvel and Lucas Arts, webseries including the Emmy winning Break a Hip, and feature films such as Saturn Returns.  She has extensive experience as an assistant editor some of her credits include Spike Jonze’s Her and Joseph Gordon Leavitt’s Don Jon.  

JOHN SWIHART
Music

John Swihart is an American film and television composer best known for his distinctive style, unique sounds, and surprising instrument choices. Raised in Bloomington, Indiana, the son of a physicist based at Indiana University. He spent a portion of his formative years in Europe and Asia, where his father would sabbatical. John studied Piano at an early age but was not deeply absorbed by music until he was eight when he found the saxophone, which he played exclusively before switching to guitar at 12. Swihart would leave Indiana to attend the renowned Berklee College of Music. From Boston to performing in Blue Man Group Las Vegas, and then to Los Angeles to pursue film and television composition where he scored a few Independent films before his breakout project NAPOLEON DYNAMITE. He has since scored over sixty films and forty TV shows including HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER.

TERRI A. LEWIS
Costumes

Terri’s 30 year career as a costume designer has taken her from New Orleans to Portland OR, to Los Angeles. As the resident designer for 8 seasons at the Portland Repertory Theatre she designed costumes for over 40 productions. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2000, she has been an active freelance designer, as well as a costume technician for film and television. Film designs include; LANDINGS and SEX TAX. For the Antaeus Company; THE LITTLE FOXES (Robby Award Nomination), CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF (Stage Raw Award Nomination), PICNIC (Ovation Award Nomination, Robby Award Nomination, Stage Raw Award Nomination), HENRY IV PART I, and TOP GIRLS (Ovation Award Nomination, Stage Raw Award Nomination). Past productions include DREAM CATCHER and BABY DOLL for The Fountain Theatre and FOREVER HOUSE for The Skylight Theatre; CLASS, BUNNY, BUNNY, BILLY & RAY, LAUREL & HARDY, SOUVENIR, and EVERYBODY SAY CHEESE, for The Garry Marshall Theatre; ON GOLDEN POND, GRACE & GLORIE and EDUCATING RITA for The Colony Theatre; I CAPTURE THE CASTLE for Hollywood Food Chain Productions (Ovation Award Nomination); and THE HABITATION OF DRAGONS for Actors Co-Op.
